Dividend Capital Realty Income Allocation Fund is based out of Denver. Dividend Capital Realty Income Allocation Fund is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is high current income. The Fund's secondary investment objective is capital appreciation. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objectives by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets, including the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in the securities of real estate companies, consisting of allocations to common stock, preferred stock and debt securities. A company is a real estate company if at least 50% of its assets, gross revenue, or net profits are committed to, or derived from, real estate or real estate-related activities. Real estate companies may include, but are not limited to, the following: real estate operating companies, real estate investment trusts ('REITs') and special purpose entities, such as pass-through trusts or other special purpose entities that issue commercial mortgage-backed securities and/or execute real estate financings or securitizations. The Fund's concentration of its investments in the real estate industry makes the Fund more susceptible to adverse economic or regulatory occurrences affecting real estate and real estate companies. Because a substantial portion of the Fund's assets may be invested in below investment grade preferred and debt securities, the Fund may be subject to increased risks inherent in such securities. Dividend Capital Investments LLC will serve as the Fund's investment adviser.

The equity portion of the Fund invests globally in owners/operators of infrastructure in the communications, utility, energy, and transportation industries.
