Business Description
MayTech is a limited liability company established in Delaware with its main office in New York City. Founded on December 16, 2016, MayTech is managed by its founders and principal owners, Mr. Nels G. Wangensteen and Ms. Ye Yin. While MayTech generally does not tailor its advisory services to individual client needs, it conducts due diligence on prospective clients to ensure the investment strategy aligns with their goals and time horizon. MayTech may adjust its services to accommodate specific client restrictions, such as portfolio diversification requirements, on a case-by-case basis if these restrictions do not significantly alter its overall investment approach.
Investment Strategy
MayTech utilizes a research-intensive analytical process to uncover growth opportunities within the global market. They seek to invest in companies with the potential to grow at above average rates by exploiting macroeconomic trends, including globalization, digitalization and changing demographics, as well as companies that can capitalize on disruptive technologies and possess strategic advantages not fully recognized by the market. MayTech offers two main investment strategies: the Global Growth Strategy and the Global Innovation Fund. The Global Growth Strategy is applied to Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), Sub-Advisory and Model Delivery Clients. The Global Innovation Fund focuses on companies in the technology, healthcare and consumer sectors, and may employ short selling and leverage. Both strategies are tailored to the specific needs of each client and may be subject to restrictions imposed by the client.
