RAM Active Investments S.A. employs a systematic equity approach that enhances traditional stock picking methods. This approach aims to generate high risk-adjusted returns through broad diversification and strict models that control portfolio liquidity, mitigating the risk of favoring one portfolio over another. For long/short strategies, the objective is mid to long-term capital appreciation through bottom-up, fundamentally driven stock picking. The proprietary model seeks to maximize risk-adjusted returns by trading securities on both the long and short sides, as well as index futures. The final portfolio is a result of optimal allocation between long-only value, defensive, and momentum approaches, combined with individual bottom-up short strategies and short on liquid futures.
