Business Description
WPC manages its broker/dealer, insurance agency, and affiliated investment advisory activities. The principal executive officers may spend a majority of their time engaged in these other related business activities. WPC's IARs may be registered to sell securities in their capacity as registered representatives of the broker/dealer, and some are also licensed to sell insurance products.
WPC does not allow its IARs to be affiliated with another registered investment advisor or to own an independent registered investment advisor (RIA). WPC requires IARs who are registered to be registered with WPC only. This requirement is intended to mitigate potential conflicts of interest and is believed to be in the best interests of clients.
