K-Sea Transporation Partners LP (KSP)

K-Sea Transportation Partners is engaged in providing marine transportation, distribution and logistics services for refined petroleum products. As of Sep 1 2010, Co. operated a fleet of 65 tank barges and 66 tugboats. Co. provides its services primarily to oil companies, oil traders and refiners in the East, West and Gulf Coast regions of the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii. Co.'s services are generally provided under the following four basic types of contractual relationships: time charters; contracts of affreightment; voyage charters; and bareboat charters. Co. is also engaged in the shipside delivery of fuel, known as bunkering, for the bunker suppliers in New York Harbor.
