Option Care is engaged as a provider of specialty pharmacy services and home infusion pharmacy services to patients with acute or chronic conditions that can be treated at home, at one of Co.'s local ambulatory infusion centers or in a physician's office. Co. provides these services to patients on behalf of managed care organizations, government healthcare programs and biopharmaceutical manufacturers through two company-owned distribution facilities, 58 owned and 53 franchised locations. Co.'s services include the distribution and administration of infused and injectible medications, patient care coordination, clinical and compliance management and reimbursement support.
