First Trust NASDAQ-100-Technology Sector Index Fund is an exchange-traded index fund or Index ETF that is a non-diversified, exchange-traded series of the First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund, an open-end management investment company. The investment objective of the Fund is to seek investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of the NASDAQ-100 Technology Sector Index. INDEX DESCRIPTION: The Technology Index (Symbol: NDXT) is an equal-weighted index based on the securities of the NASDAQ-100 Index that are classified as "technology" according to the Industry Classification Benchmark classification system. The NASDAQ-100 Index includes 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on NASDAQ based on market capitalization. The inception date of the Technology Index was February 22, 2006 and the inception date of the NASDAQ-100 Index was January 1, 1985.
